Summer Art Making and Viewing

It is important to keep your artistic interests engaged. Use your sketchbook/visual journal to

  • jot down ideas,

  • save images torn from magazines,

  • write down overheard conversations that peak your interest,

  • squish a flower between the pages,

  • do some en plain air watercolor,

  • make a Zentangle (add words),

  • play Exquisite Corpse,

  • Doodle,

  • Brain Dump

  • create a design,

  • or sketch an observational object.
